We’ve been busy trying to find, organize, correct and place all of our information onto the new blog.
Since we had to revamp everything – meaning we couldn’t just transfer information, we had to save it all and re-enter it! – things are going painfully slow. There is some information we lost – such as any comments that we’ve received from you out there on past posts, some emails and resources. We were sorry to discover that, but it gives us a new opportunity to learn more about everything and everyone all over again!
If you have commented on our blog in the past, we want to say thank you. Your comments reaffirm our work, give us guidance and support as we continue our efforts here. If you haven’t visited our new blog yet, you have a chance to re-discover our roots and comment or share on what you read. We invite everyone to let us know what you think – about the topics, the project and anything else.
That “anything else” also includes any of you interested in being on our blogroll – yet another snafu we’ve encountered. I will be personally sending out emails to those of you I still have listed. If you don’t see yourself listed as a resource (once we get it up in the next week), be sure to send us your information! The more we know, the more individuals in our community we can serve.
We want to mention today is the beginning of our book discussion group on Gerd Gigerenzer’s “Gut Feelings” (Penguin Group, 2007). You can find our discussions on the following networks listed on our blog under “MLWT Networks” (except for Portlandneighborhood’s Net), found on the postings page when you open up a post.) . We also have a group on the WeAreLupus.org social network. We’ll be checking in on October 4th on the first chapter.
Next month, we have a special guest in for book discussion – the author herself! Mums the word, though – we need to take a look at some Gut Feelings first!
