Portland Symposium Cancelled

We wanted to be sure and note for all of you that the Events Calendar on our blog shows the Portland Lupus Symposium is still scheduled to be held tomorrow. As we are knee deep in making some changes here, the event changes will have to be posted in the blog until we get things revised.

As mentioned in our previous post on May 14th, there will NOT be a symposium here in Portland tomorrow (June 7th) as it has been cancelled. Be sure to check with the PNW Chapter LFA website for updates on events – including the Golf Tournament here in the metro area this month. Here is the link to the PNW Chapter .

Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. We are on target to getting this site cleaned up within the next week. Thank you all for your patience and we’ll be starting our focused posts very soon!

Oregon Support & Meet-up Group Announcements

Portland/Beaverton area Fibro/CFS/ME group~ next meeting is Saturday, May 19th from 1-4:00 PM. As recognition of May being National Fibro Awareness Month, there will be a special "self-care" retreat offered at this month's meeting time. It will be held at the Frida Center in SW Portland and open to all. Also consider joining in on their webinars, too.~

Bend's Central Oregon Scleroderma Support Group next meeting is set for May 10th, 5:30pm upstairs in the Physician's Lounge. Sue Gutz of Actelion Pharmaceuticals will be presenting.

Portland area group's first 2012 meeting is scheduled for May 12th and will be featuring guest cardiologist Dr. John H. Greves of the Vancouver Clinic.
